Dallas Fort Worth Wildflowers

Second Stop

Solana, Westlake, and Southlake

I think the Westlake area is one of the prettiest in DFW. Most of these shots were taken along the rolling hills of highway 114 between Solana (second picture down on the left) and Grapevine. Bluebonnets and Indian Paintbrush are the most common here along with burgundy colored flowers that viewer Hal Allan tells me are Crimson Clover. Solana all by itself is worth seeing. It's an ultra modern campus style office complex set in a country setting just southeast of the Circle T Ranch.
